Practical Information

After the success of the first two editions, the Royal Light Festival will return to the royal city of Apeldoorn from Wednesday 12 to Sunday 16 March. This 5-day festival, free of charge, puts Apeldoorn in the spotlight again with spectacular light artworks from across the globe. As the sun sets, the royal and green city awakens, painting the night with colourful shades, creating a truly majestic spectacle for all to enjoy. This year, the Royal Light Festival is themed 'Free', in honour of 80 years of liberation, and offers a unique opportunity to commemorate and celebrate freedom and solidarity together.
