Practical Information
The lights are turned off! From Wednesday March 12th until Sunday March 17th of 2024 the Royal city of Apeldoorn was lit up by 11 different light art works. Light Art from across the globe was showcased in various locations. As the sun sets, the royal and green city awakens, painting the night with colourful shades, creating a truly majestic spectical for all to enjoy.

Accessibility
Royal Light Festival takes place in public space and utilizes existing wheelchair-friendly paths.
Dogs (leashed) are welcome at all light artworks in public spaces, except for the Grote Kerk. Only service dogs are allowed in the Grote Kerk.
Visitors of the Royal Light Festival can use the lavatory in the Grote Kerk free of charge. Additionally, public toilets are available at various locations in Apeldoorn.

The Royal Light Festival takes place in the city centre of Apeldoorn and is easily accessible by bike, public transportation, and car.
